國民黨前立委孫大千今(4)日表示，總統蔡英文心中的盤算，應該是「假現狀，真獨立」吧，所以今日的兩岸局勢，其實就是中國大陸與台獨力量的對決。
孫大千說，只有最愚蠢的人，才會把朋友變成敵人，把商場轉成戰場。所以，若不是民進黨的政治人物腦袋有問題，就是這一切恐怕早就是一部精心設計的「台灣獨立」劇本。
孫大千說明，兩岸關係的急速惡化和升高對抗的始作俑者，在於民進黨片面更改了過去國民黨執政時期所建立的「九二共識」基礎。蔡英文不願意繼續以「九二共識」為前提，維持兩岸之間和平穩定，甚至外交休兵的「現狀」，甚至連柯文哲的「兩岸一家親」的說法，也被視為是違背了民進黨的「台灣價值」。
但是，民進黨始終無法提出一套能夠讓中國大陸接受的兩岸論述，不由得讓大家懷疑，這一切是一個有計畫的布局，目的就是為了讓台灣快速走向獨立。
孫大千指出六點理由：
第一，蔡英文政府明明知道，原本兩岸互助雙贏的局面，一旦抽掉了九二共識之後，必然會「地動山搖」，走回頭路。為什麼卻視而不見，聽而不聞，刻意使情勢持續惡化？
第二，自從民進黨被中國大陸貼上一個「階段性台獨」的標籤之後，為什麼從未對外嚴正否認澄清？這是代表默認了嗎？
第三，民進黨一方面迫使中國大陸不得不對台灣採取行動，嚇阻台獨，另一方面藉此向國際社會訴求遭受打壓的弱勢形象，同時，以團結對外為號召，激發台灣人民的仇中情緒，為進一步將中國大陸「敵國化」建立合理化的基礎。
第四，所謂的「印太戰略」，很明顯的就是美日聯盟藉以圍堵中國大陸的代名詞。蔡英文一再宣示加盟的意願，等同將台灣綁上對抗大陸的戰車。一則挾美日自重，可以令北京方面投鼠忌器；另一則在台海發生危機時，可以拖美日下水的意圖相當明顯。
第五，民進黨有步驟的藉由美中貿易戰的機會，呼籲台商放棄西進的規畫，接著，以反擊友邦斷交為理由，緊縮兩岸交流的管道，以求最終回到兩岸互不接觸，互不往來的狀態。
第六，台獨勢力及美國政府都深刻的體認，時間拖得越久，中國大陸的經濟和軍事實力必然更加強大。因此，川普政府不斷在經貿領域和台灣議題上刺激北京政府，希望能夠藉此發動對中國大陸的經貿制裁，一舉讓中國大陸的經濟發展倒退三十年，而台獨勢力趁火打劫，狐假虎威，借機借勢推動台灣獨立。
